Who is responsible

S&J Powersports / Sam & Julia is responsible for the information submitted through this website. For privacy questions, contact Sam Alam at 780-935-2128. No dealership is identified here as the controller of your application. Call Sam to arrange a written channel for access, correction or other privacy requests while a dedicated email address is pending.

What we collect

The financing form collects your name, email, phone number, date of birth, street address, city, postal code and province or territory; vehicle interest and any trade-in details; monthly budget and planned down payment; employment status, company, job title and income; and self-reported credit situation. Optional fields may be left blank unless required for your selected circumstances. We also record the financing consent version, wording and server acceptance time.

Do not send Social Insurance Numbers, bank account numbers, payment card details or identity documents through this form.

Why we use and share information

We use your information to review your financing needs, contact you about your application, discuss suitable vehicle and lender options, and coordinate necessary next steps. With your consent, relevant information may be shared with dealerships and lenders only as required to assess those options. A lender may request its own disclosures and authorization before a credit check. Sending this website form does not itself perform a credit check or guarantee financing.

We do not sell your personal information. Financing consent does not include marketing consent, and no automatic marketing subscription is created by applying.

Hosting and service providers

The website uses Lovable hosting and its managed database service, powered by Supabase, to process and store applications. Service providers may process information outside Alberta or Canada depending on their actual infrastructure and arrangements; foreign laws may apply there. We do not promise a particular storage region. Contact Sam for questions about providers or processing before submitting sensitive information.

Safeguards, retention and disposal

Applications are stored privately and the application reader requires authorization. We aim to limit access to people who need the information for financing review and follow-up and use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No internet service is risk-free and this policy does not claim a security certification.

Information should be retained only as reasonably needed for the purposes described and applicable legal or business requirements, then securely disposed of or de-identified. A fixed retention period and automatic deletion schedule have not been established on this website. Contact Sam to discuss retention or a disposal request.

Access, correction and withdrawal

You may request access to your information, corrections, or withdrawal of consent by calling 780-935-2128 to arrange a written request. We may need to verify your identity safely before responding. Do not put sensitive information in a public message. Requests are considered under applicable law; withdrawal may prevent further financing review, and information may need to be retained where law or legitimate obligations require it. A request to us does not automatically remove information already lawfully shared with an independent lender or dealership; we can help identify the appropriate contact.

Customer photos and historical reviews

Customer moments and reviews reflect work across previous dealerships and do not imply any dealership endorses S&J. Contact Sam about a photo, identifying detail or review concern, including a request to remove a customer image.

Questions, complaints and changes

Contact Sam first with a concern. You can also contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada where federal or interprovincial rules apply. Alberta PIPA and, depending on the activity, PIPEDA may apply. This policy is not a legal determination of jurisdiction.

We may update this policy as our practices change and will show the effective date and version here. New financing consent records identify the wording accepted at submission.
